When planning your next vacation to the Dominican Republic, Puerto Vallarta airport transportation can often be a pain in the butt. The problem is that Puerto Vallarta is so small and there are only two main airports in the area, so there are limited options when it comes to finding a good way to get from point A to point B.
Fortunately there are plenty of options when it comes to getting around Puerto Vallarta. Most of the airports have a bus line or bus system that runs from one terminal to the next, although the airport’s airport bus service is very limited. Other bus service systems are also available and you can usually pick up at either the La Posada Airport or the Puerto Vallarta International Airport.
If you want to take a taxi to your hotel or rental car rental company, then all you have to do is walk a block down the street to the La Posada Airport bus terminal and you’re all set. You can usually get there within five minutes of when you depart.
The other option for getting around Puerto Vallarta with airport transportation is to drive to your rental car rental company and use their shuttle services to the rental car lot. They’ll drop you off at the rental car lot and you simply have to get into your vehicle and drive back to your hotel.
These shuttle services tend to charge a small fee for the service, but most of the car rental companies offer it anyway. In fact, most people opt to use their shuttle services rather than driving back and forth in order to save money.
Regardless of what you decide to do, make sure to plan your trip before you leave. If you don’t plan ahead you may find yourself trying to do too much and that’s a bad idea no matter where you go.
Don’t forget that Puerto Vallarta has plenty of great shopping. There are many different types of shopping around here, but if you want to get the best shopping experience then check out the downtown area. This area is considered to be the “center” of Puerto Vallarta. There are some great malls and other shopping centers to check out, so if you get off the bus you should definitely go take a walk around the area to see what shopping is going on.
You will not be disappointed with the shopping here in Puerto Vallarta. One thing to remember is that shopping here is usually very expensive, so if you’re looking for cheap prices then you need to be careful when shopping around.
